The St. Paul’s Square area on East Commerce Street includes a number of historic buildings constructed at or about the time of Sunset Station (1909 – 1954). A study constructed for the developers by Vernon L. Dunagin, AIA in 2000 identified building envelope issues throughout each of five buildings with recommendations for remedy. The developers used the study to independently contract the restoration of these significant historic structures.
